TTS continued to recognize the years of commitment and contribution of our employees to the organization at our Long Service Award Presentation events. A total of 23 employees had received their long service awards at two separate special in-house functions held in TTS facility in Penang and Johor. Each employee was awarded a special TTS Long Service Award plaque for their loyalty and service dedication to the organization.
Our CEO joined our employees in Thailand to hold a special memorial service in remembrance of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand. The memorial started with the CEO giving a short speech in remembrance of the late King, followed by speeches from the employees of their beloved King. A short video presentation on the King’s life and his great contributions to Thailand and his people was also shown during the memorial service. All observed a moment of silence in honour of the King after the video presentation. The service ended in a sombre mood with everyone singing the Royal Anthem, “Sansoen Phra Barami” to mark their respect.
TTS employees in Thailand expressed their sadness on the passing away of their revered Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej. As a sign of respect, a decorated portrait of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej is displayed in the facility for employees to mourn his demise. Our employees in Thailand will be wearing black and white attire to observe 30 days mourning. Later, they will display black coloured ribbon provided by the company on their left sleeve to continue one year period of mourning.

TTS Group held a mock fire evacuation exercise at all its Malaysia sites in Penang and Johor recently. The exercise is part of a statutory requirement, to remind and refresh our employees of emergency evacuation procedure to follow in case of fire. The key message of the exercise is not to panic and to leave the workplace immediately in a safe manner. All employees were safely evacuated in less than 3 minutes.
TTS Thailand enjoyed the moment of cooking healthy food during Health Food Day held recently. The event was organized to educate our employees on cultivating a sense of healthy living as well as to promote team building and enhance effective interactions. During the closing of the event, top three teams were presented with prizes as to acknowledge their effort and creativity preparing the healthy food.

To appreciate the diversity of our employees and promote an inclusion culture in our workplace, TTSG Penang held a “TTS Cultural Appreciation Day”. Apart from enjoying the snacks and a demo of decorations from different culture, the limelight of the event is the “Best Traditional Wear” competition. Judges were kept busy selecting the best eight traditional wear outfit modelled by our employees before final round voting by all our employees. Our employees have a great time mingling around; in keeping with the theme of the diversity and inclusion culture.
