Current Measurement

Jigs are used to hold the Probe Pins and temperature is measured at
constant intervals in order to monitor the temperature development when
current is induced at a constant rate.

Equipments involved are :

 Thermometer
|

Thermocouple
|
|
Current Carrying Capacity Jig
|
|
DC Power supply
|
|
|
The Thermocouple used may vary according to pin size. Current, ranges
from 0 ~ 7A, is being induced. Reading is taken at every 10 minutes
interval for the next one hour. At the end of the process, a reliability
test of the spring is taken to verify the Current Rating.
