Employees of TTSM were wearing the same “T” shirt and eagerly waiting to fulfill the second
part of the “Greening Penang Program – Mud Balls Throwing”.
When two chartered buses arrived, everyone boarded the buses and travelled
to the nearby “Sungei Nibong Kecil” river.
Plastic crates filled with 10,000 pieces of mud balls which were made about a
month ago were transported by a truck and arranged at the river bank.
After taking a few snaps of photos to commemorate the event, everyone
started to put their hands into the crates to scope up the mud balls and
throwing into the river. A few colleagues from Japan, Singapore,
Thailand and USA had also joined the event which lasted about an hour.
With various actions and poses in an effort to throw the mud balls into the river,
this event not only enabled employees to interact with one another in an interesting
and fun manner but the group had also contributed towards Saving The Environment For A Better Living.
Upon completion of the mud ball throwing, the event continued with presentation
of Long Service Awards. Four loyal employees were awarded with 5 years’ Service Award
and everyone was treated to a buffet lunch.

As part of Corporate Social Responsibility, TTSM Penang had participated in
the Greening Penang Program initiated by PSDC in aiming to improve the water
quality of rivers of Penang. With good intention coupled with good teamwork,
employees of Penang dug their hands into a mixture of red earth, fermented rice,
husk/brand and Effectively Microorganism Activated Solutions to mould round balls.
Combination of sweat and fun throughout the activity, the first part of the
program was accomplished when the group successfully molded 10,000 pieces of
mud balls within four and a half hours.

We are now in production and have began shipping FB-DIMM Channel Test Card (CTC) testers.
The CTC is an affordable test platform which allows manufacturers and integrators to test
FB-DIMMs used in servers. The FB-DIMM's extremely high speed serial interface makes the
module very difficult to test using conventional memory test methods. Since the memory
chips are hidden behind the AMB (Advanced Memory Buffer), it is difficult to detect short,
opens, and actual memory cell failures. Fortunately, the DFT functions are implemented
into the AMB chip. The CTC provides the necessary power supply voltages to the FB-DIMM
and sets up the AMB self test functions through the SMBus. For more information,
please email sales@tts-grp.com.
