TTSM is expected to take delivery of the 10 new Tsugami’s latest auto
lathe machines with a list price of Yen12 millions each (about USD120K)
from December onward. The first machine is scheduled to arrive at the factory
in Johor, Malaysia at the end of December with the rest to follow in January 2009.
This is part of the an overall investment of USD6MM to upgrade the current probe
pin fabricating facility in Johor and to position the company for the potential
economy recovery.

Test Tooling Solutions Group announced additional equipment purchases with list price exceeding USD1MM.
This is part of an overall investment of not less than USD2MM in the PCB Fabrication
facility to upgrade its manufacturing capability for high end ATE boards.
The equipment is expected to be delivered over the next 2 to 3 months,
demonstrating the management’s commitment to the facility in Folsom,
California and confident of the high end PCB industry in the USA.

Mr. Gary Ford was appointed Vice President and Managing Director for Test Tooling
Solutions Group, North America. Gary has more than 20 years of experience in the PCB
Industry with different levels of appointment. He oversees our Group’s PCB fabrication
facility in Folsom, California and reports to the Snr VP for PCB Division.

Branding Seminar
TTSG had on 4 August 2008 (Monday) organized a one day branding seminar for the
Management Team. Mr. Wilson Chew, the Principal Consultant & CEO of Strategicom &
his partner Mr. Stefan Pertz were engaged to provide an overview on the importance
of branding and how it can impact the business of TTSG. The Management Team walked
away with a good sense of things that need to be done to better position the Group
in a challenging business environment.

TTS Group took part in the SEMICON West exhibition from 15th to 17th of July,
one of the biggest semiconductor exhibition in the USA.

TTSM organized a Durian party for all its employees who enjoyed a memorable trip to one
of the famous durian plantation in Penang. They got to savour some of the best durians
around and also some local fruits that pampered their taste bud.
There were lots of fun, games and laughter for the employees. Everyone had a great time.

Mr. Takeo Shinosawa, is appointed the Vice President and Managing Director of Test Tooling
Solutions Group, Japan. Shino-san graduated with a Bachelor of Marketing from Tokyo
International University and has more than 20 years of experience in test socket and
probe pin related industries. He has previously worked for major Japanese’s MNCs at
different level of appointments in overseas and at home.

TTSM has successfully conducted its first Evacuation Exercise to prepare and ensure all
employees are ready for any emergency situation. Good planning and cooperation from all
employees have made the exercise a success. The facility was completely evacuated with
all employees accounted for within 4 minutes.

TTSG has obtained the certification for RoHS (Directive 2002/95/EC on the Restriction of
the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment) for its
Test Probe. This is a step forward for the wider acceptance and application of TTSG
fabricated Test Probe in a Lead Free test environment.

overseeing the PCB Division which includes Design, Fabrication and Assembly.
Joe has more than 25 years of experience in PCB related industries in Asia & USA,
His last appointment was the Vice President of an established EMS and PCB operation in Santa Clara.

TTSM today announced the purchase of 20 new auto-lathe machines from Tsugami Japan
for the fabrication of fine pitch test probe. 5 of these machines have been shipped
to the factory in Johor, Malaysia and another 15 are expected to be delivered over
the next few months. The total investment on the machines is more than USD 2 million.

Test Tooling Solutions Group announces that they have entered into
a definitive agreement with the shareholders of R-Squared Circuits Inc to
acquire 100% of the company. R-Squared Circuits Inc, located in Folsom California,
is a Printed Circuit Board Manufacturer for ATE testers.
“The acquisition is strategic to the Group as we now have the in-house
capability of fabricating a major component for any ATE Board.”,
according to Group CEO, SL Wee . Meanwhile, the acquisition is subjected to
the customary approval of the regulatory authorities.
