In recognition of the long service relationship of its employees,
TTS Group of Companies presented Long Service Awards to 24 employees
who achieved 5 years and 10 years consecutive service with the Group in 2011.
The Long Service Award recipients were from its companies in Penang, Johor Bahru,
Singapore and Thailand. Recipients and employees at its plants in Penang and Johor
Bahru, were also treated to a buffet lunch during the Award presentations.
Congratulations to all the Long Service Award recipients for your dedication,
loyalty and contributions in assisting the TTS Group of Companies to carve a
leadership position in the ATE test and tooling industry in Asia.

Mr. Gary Meyer, currently the QA Manager for TTS PCB Division in the US,
has been appointed the Factory Manager to oversee the new secondary
processing plant and relocated to Malaysia. Reporting to the CEO,
Gary will undertake the leadership of driving innovation and developing
cutting edge technology for secondary processing to further enhance TTS
products and services. Gary completed his post graduate in Instrumental
and Analytical Chemistry and came with vast middle-back office managerial
experiences in multinational corporate. TTSG would like to congratulate
Gary on his new appointment.

TTS Thailand has cancelled the Anniversary celebration owing to the concern of
devastating flood occurring in major regions within the country. For a good course,
the employees in the Thailand’s operation have initiated a donation campaign together
with local residents to provide daily supplies, water and medicines to flood stricken
victims and to express our sympathy and demonstrate our support for the community.
The donation will soon be delivered to local government office and the Chiang Mai
Red Cross Association for distribution.

We are featuring new concept IC test socket designed for high frequency

Introduction of new TTSG name badge
As part of an overall effort to acknowledge and recognize the commitment,
technical capability and contribution of the employees, TTSG unveiled a new
name badge design featuring a 3 colors coding system with numeric to indicate
the employee’s year of services, number of IP patented and record of special award.
It also featured the new company logo under the latest branding exercise.

Thailand was hard hit by the recent rain storms with most part of
the country flooding under water. The employees at GMC,
our subsidiary in Thailand, have donated and volunteered to
distribute food to the victims of this natural disaster.
Their effort and kindness are highly commendable.

Launch of New Corporate Branding
In line with the progressive launch of new TTS corporate branding,
the OHQ in Penang Malaysia has been given a new look and feel.
The refurbishment project was completed in late September to the
expectation of the employees. At the same time, the new corporate
logo will start to replace the old one in all our new communication
and marketing channels and materials.

TTS PG Family Day
Anyone notice the bursts of laughter when passing by the Queens Bay GSC
cinema on Sept 24th? It was a collective sign of enjoyment from more than two
hundreds of TTS PG employees and their families, watching the block buster
comedy – Johnny English Reborn. It was an afternoon of relax and family bonding
for the employees organized by TTS PG in appreciation of their contribution and
the sacrifices made by their families.

As part of our mission to shorten the lead time to market,
Test tooling Solutions Group has taken the delivery of 10 more new
Citizen machines as part of the overall expansion plan for 2011.
These latest model auto lathe machines from Japan, with customized
modification and tooling, have a list price of USD1.5 millions.
The new machines had been successfully installed and commissioned
in our plant in Malaysia and had significantly increase our capacity
and capability to meet the customers’ requirement.

Mechanical designers CN Cheah and LL Tay had walked away with the cash
prizes as the winner and 1st runner up in “Know-How Campaign” held on 6-10 June.
The aim of this campaign is to improve designer’s skill and confidence and
encourage a continue learning culture. The level of activity was overwhelming
and all participants benefited from this campaign.

It is the season for the King of Fruit. The Durian Party was ushered back
under a popular demand. All employees at TTSG Thailand indulged themselves
with a feast of a variety durians and others local seasonal fruits.
The atmosphere was filled with the durian’s aroma and lingering laughter
from satisfying employees enjoying themselves. Many thanks to the organizing
committee for a job well done.

We are pleased to announce the successfully integration of Kenstronics Malaysia with
Test Tooling Solutions Group effective 1st June 2011. This strategic alliance marks a
key milestone in our business operations model. We have managed to reduce redundancy,
streamline the process flow, improve the efficiency and expedite the decision making
process in the entire supply chain. Ultimately, it will help to reduce the total cost
of ownership and time to market for our customers.
With this integration, TTSG will be looking forward to better support our combined
customers with greater capacity, velocity, technical & financial resources in meeting
the challenges ahead.

TTSG is pleased to congratulate the production team from PCBA Division
and the QA team from Pin Assembly Division lead by HH Ng and Kelvin Tay
respectively as the winners of 5S program and walked away with cash prizes
for their team. The successful implementation of the 5S values
( Sort “SEIRI”, Straighten “SEITON”, Shine “SEISO”, Standardize “ SEIKETSU” and
Sustain “ SHITSUKE”) helps to sustain a clean and neat working environment as
well as to create a harmonious and friendly production atmosphere with the aim
of enhancing productivity and efficiency.

TTSG congratulates one of our own, Ms Lai Chen Yong - Staff Pin Design Engineer,
for her appointment to the Technical Program Committee under BiTS. She is the first
Asian lady to be appointed to the committee. Together with other members of the
committee, CY has the responsibility of developing, organizing and preparing technical
program, soliciting and selection of technical paper, and providing technical
guidance to authors in their papers. Both TTSG and BiTS believe that CY
will promote and contribute to the advancement of the technical program.

TTSG participated in the blood donation organized by Thai Red Cross Society as
part of its ongoing commitment towards supporting the local community.
The blood donation campaign took place at National Blood Center in Bangkok,
Thailand. Transportation was provided for the employees to support this
initiative and the participation was overwhelming.

Test Tooling Solutions Group has appointed Takuto Yoshida as the Probe Pin Design Manager.
Reporting to the CEO, Yoshida-san is tasked to oversee the entire pin design
operation and map out the long term strategy and technology roadmap for future
pin design and application.
Yoshida-san had almost 30 years of working experience in the related field with specialty in radio frequency. He was the designer in Inmarsat Satelite Communication System Development and experienced in Antenna System Development, VSAT Transmitter Development and Ultra high speed coaxial type socket development. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Radio Engineering and Operation from University of Electro Communications in Tokyo and served as member of Japan Institute of Electronics Packaging ( JIEP).

2 major earthquakes of magnitude 7 and 5 had hit Burma, borderline with Northern Thailand,
at around 9:30pm on Thursday, March 24. There was no report of injuries or damage
to our facility in Chiang Mai where the tremors were felt for at least 10 seconds.
This morning, March 25, the factory had conducted an evacuation exercise with the
help of the local government and emergency respond team to ensure all employees are
prepared and ready for unexpected emergency situation. We appreciate the assistance
and collaboration of the employees, local government officials and fire department
on a short notice.
